About RoleClimb

Practical career guidance, a clear publisher and an honest explanation of how this website works.

Published by RoleClimbPublisher: Daniel LoktionovUpdated

The key point

RoleClimb helps readers prepare for a job search. It publishes information and tool guidance; it does not recruit, make hiring decisions or promise job offers.

What RoleClimb is for

Job searching involves several different jobs: understanding an opening, explaining your experience, submitting an accurate application and preparing for a conversation. RoleClimb organizes those tasks into instructions you can use without first buying software.

This is an independent career-information website for readers navigating the U.S. job search. It is not a staffing agency, an employer application portal or a service that sells access to hiring managers.

Start with our practical guides. When a tool could remove a specific obstacle, use the career-tool directory to understand its purpose and what to check before subscribing.

Who is responsible

RoleClimb is founded and published by Daniel Loktionov. The site is new and currently owner-operated; it does not claim to have a newsroom, a panel of recruiters or certified career counselors.

Daniel is responsible for publishing decisions, commercial relationships and receiving correction requests. Read the publisher profile for the scope of that role. A publisher credit is not a claim that an employment specialist has reviewed a page.

What you will find here

  • Instructions: practical steps, examples and checklists for resumes, applications and interviews.
  • Tool information: a description of the task a product addresses, limits to investigate and links to the provider.
  • Decision support: help deciding whether you need software at all, rather than a list of subscriptions to buy.

The launch collection contains five substantive guides. Full employer hiring guides, product tests and rankings will be added only when their research is ready. We do not present a directory listing as a completed review.

Evidence, examples and limits

Official documentation supports product facts; employer instructions govern a particular application. A worked example illustrates a technique, not a real applicant's result. Research-based content and hands-on testing are different and must be labeled accordingly.

AI assists research organization and drafting. It does not replace a cited source or make invented experience acceptable. Our editorial guidelines explain this distinction, and our methodology describes the questions behind a tool recommendation.

How the site can earn money

Some future links may pay RoleClimb a commission after a qualifying referral. Where an active referral link is used, the page must explain that commercial relationship. A provider can also appear without paying us.

Compensation can create an incentive to recommend a product. Our commitment is to disclose that incentive and preserve the material limits, cost considerations and alternatives the reader needs. Read the affiliate disclosure.

For corrections or business enquiries, contact the publisher. Do not send applications or identity documents: we cannot submit them to employers for you.
